This is the first formal simulation with WES-2 Bridge. In addition, WES-2 Bridge was upgraded specfically to support basic tools used operationally in riverine flooding situations. In the AWIPS-2 Hydro Perspective, these tools include Point Data Control, Hydro Time Series and the display of gridded Flash Flood Guidance and the Best Estimate QPE (Quantitative Precipitation Estimate). In the MPE Perspective, WES-2 Bridge supports the display of most precipitation mosaics. In addition, the foundation is laid for future support of additional hydrologic tools such as Precip Monitor, River Monitor, Site Specific Headwaters Predictor (SSHP) model and eventually RiverPro and Hazard Services.
