Lesson 4 Forecast Change Groups
On many occasions, weather conditions will change at your TAF site over the forecast period. Some of the conditions will be widespread and last hours while other conditions are more isolated or scattered and last for short periods of time.
This lesson describes the differences between prevailing and temporary weather conditions and the proper syntax to indicate changes in the TAF.
By the end of this lesson, you should be able to:
- Describe the differences between prevailing and temporary weather conditions.
- Apply the proper syntax to indicate changes in your TAFs.
