1.4 Basic Components
The basic components for a scheduled TAF consist of the following:
- Product Identification [TAF or TAF Amendment (AMD)] [Black]
- Four Letter International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) TAF Site Identifier
[Purple] - Date/time the TAF was issued in Univeral Coordinated Time [suffix with a "Z" (zulu)] [Green]
- Valid Time of TAF [Red]
- Forecast group(s) [Blue]
- end designator (=) [Brown]
