Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service (AHPS)
AHPS is a web-based hydrologic forecast product suite.
The products depict probabilistic forecasts up to months in advance.
Our partners and customers use these products as decision support tools.
ESPADP
ESPADP is the legacy system for creating output to AHPS.
The acronym ESPADP appears on workflows used to produce the ensembles used in Graphics Generator.
Graphics Generator
Recall from earlier in this lesson, Graphics Generator is the new application, contained within CHPS, for creating output to AHPS.
The way ESPADP and Graphics Generator work is different; the calculations of Graphics Generator and ESPADP are the same.
