Producer: TBD

Click here first for an Introduction

Specific Job Task Skills and Knowledge:

Task 5.1: Analyze storm structure and determine any associated hazardous weather using WSR-88D (and TDWR, if available) base data, derived products, and algorithms and by using other observational data.

Task 5.2: Analyze the four-dimensional evolution of convective storms using all availabe data resouces, including the Four-Dimensional Storm Investigator (FSI).

Instructional Components:

IC 5.1: Review the following courses related to the different storm types and their morphology.

IC 5.2: Review the various severe weather hazards associated by viewing the courses below for each threat type.

IC 5.3: Use cases in the Weather Event Simulator (WES) simulations prior to the start of the convective weather season to analyze storm structures and near-storm environments that impact storm evolution.
