You do not need to review the details of this page unless you have a particular question about a parameter.

PARCEL DATA
- LPL (lifted parcel level of the latest lifted parcel) - parcel pressure (mb), temperature/dewpoint in C and F
- CAPE of the latest lifted parcel (J/kg)
- LI - lifted index (temperature difference of parcel at 500mb and 500mb temperature using the latest lifted parcel (C))
- BFZL - unknown, but likely CAPE below freezing level (J/kg)
- LImin - minimum LI (C) and associated pressure (mb) for the latest lifted parcel
- CINH - convective inhibition (J/kg) for the latest lifted parcel to reach the LFC
- Cap - temperature of the cap (C) and associated pressure (mb) for latest lifted parcel
- LCL - lifted condensation level for the latest lifted parcel, pressure (mb), ht AGL (ft)
- LFC - level of free convection for the latest lifted parcel, pressure (mb), ht AGL (ft), temperature (C)
- EL - equilibrium level for the latest lifted parcel, pressure (mb), ht AGL (ft), temperature (C)
- MPL -Maximum Parcel Level (i.e. theoretical height of overshooting top) for the latest lifted parcel considering momentum from positive CAPE and negative forcing above the EL, pressure (mb), ht AGL (ft)
THERMODYNAMIC DATA
- P. Water - precipitable water (in)
- Mean RH - mean relative humidity (%)
- MeanW - mean mixing ratio (g/kg)
- Mean LRH - unknown, may be mean relative humidity in low levels (%)
- Top of Moist Lyr - the estimated top of the surface moist layer, pressure (mb), hgt ASL (ft)
- 700-500mb lapse rate - temperature difference and temperature change per km
- 850-500mb lapse rate - temperature difference and temperature change per km
- SWEAT index - SWEAT= 12(850Td) + 20(TT - 49) + 2(V850) + (V500) + 125(sin(dd500 - dd850) + 0.2)
- Any negative term is set to zero, and winds must be veering with height, or that term is set to zero.
- 850Td = 850 mb dewpoint temperature
- TT = Total Totals Index
- V850 = 850 mb wind speed
- V500 = 500 mb wind speed
- dd500 - dd850 = Directional veering of wind with height
- Total Totals - TT = (T850 - T500) + (Td850 - T500)
