What is Space Weather?

The term Space Weather extends this idea beyond the immediate atmosphere to include changes occurring in space, on the Sun, and in the Earth’s magnetosphere, ionosphere and thermosphere.

Space Weather examines the consequences of the Sun’s behavior on the Earth.
