6.3 Topology Panel
Topology is an “at a glance” view of the river system in your RFC’s area of responsibility.
The CHPS IFD allows forecasters to run forecasts basin by basin using the topology accessible through the Topology panel.

Layout
The Topology panel is a block diagram depicting the connections between individual nodes.
The topology is defined by the individual nodes (station locations) and their connectivity.
Topology is also displayed in a tree format in the forecast panel.
Behavior
When a forecaster clicks one of the nodes (the boxes with the forecast or data point name on it), the time series plots available for the location appear on the right of the IFD.
