3.4 Spatial Display Configuration

Once you decide to customize your Spatial Display, it is important to become familiar with the SpatialDisplay.xml file.
Reminder: The Spatial Display panel is configured via the SpatialDisplay.xml file located in DisplayConfigFiles directory.

From the <defaults> section in the SpatialDisplay.xml file, you can...
- set a default layout for parameter groups and plot groups
- set the background map and extent
- specify class breaks
- configure background maps for all grid plot groups
- add or configure shapefiles
From the <gridPlotGroup> section in the SpatialDisplay.xml file, you can...
- set the hierarchical (nested) structure of the grid plot groups and individual grid plots
- configure the grid plot layout settings
- set the time series data displays
- specify class breaks and color settings
