1.3 CHPS Calibration Application
CHPS did not contain a calibration component until November 2013. Only legacy applications could be used for calibration.
Calibration Application
The CHPS calibration application's functions are integrated in the Interactive Forecast Display (IFD).
The only addition to the IFD for calibration is the Calibration Reports button. Lesson 3, Statistics and Reports, explains this feature in more detail.
The output from the calibration statistics plots on the Plots tab used for evaluating hydrologic data for daily forecasts.
The image on the right depicts daily mean flow on the main panel. Thumbnails of other statistical output are on the far right.

History
The Hydrologic Software Engineering Branch in the Office of Hydrologic Development and Deltares developed the calibration functionality.
