But the manufacturer's specs wouldn't say that
'the sample of forward signal is 1/1,000 of the power incident'.
It would instead refer to a 30 dB coupling.
So apparently saying 30 dB coupling is like saying 1/1,000 is sampled!
Designers and manufacturers all like to use dB's (Decibels).
It's our job to understand how to use them in power measurement calculations.
